Thank you for your notification and sorry for tbsports必一运动he sad news of the loss of Prof Zheng-Yi Wu. Before we could respond to it, we found the funeral was already over on June 26.

Prof Wu was such an icon in Chinese botany, great scholar, great mind, mentor and leader. His contributions and ideas will last and memorbsports必一运动y of him persists in our minds. We thank him and God for sharing him with us. 

From time to time, I asked him for advice, including the time when I wrote a biography of Prof Shiu-Ying Hu.  He was very kind and admirable in his replies and comments. In commemoratibsports必一运动on of Prof Wu, I uploaded the attached photos on the group 'Hong Kong Flora and Vegetation' in Facebook. I also introduced Prof Wu to our group members, many of them our students at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, so that we would cherish himbsports必一运动 and the plants bearing C.Y. Wu at the end of their names.

Kindly convey our deepest sympathy to his family.
